A small piece of writing history with plenty of character: this vintage Eversharp Red Top container was made for square pencil leads and bears the markings “EVERSHARP RED TOP SQUARE LEADS” and “B SOFT THE WAHL CO. MADE IN CHICAGO, U.S.A.”
The compact metal case has a warm gold-tone finish, embossed lettering and a removable red painted cap. Pencil leads are present and included as shown in the photographs. Their exact size, remaining quantity and compatibility with particular pencils have not been verified; this piece is offered primarily as a collectible.
Dimensions: approximately 4 cm long × 1 cm wide.
Condition: vintage, pre-owned condition with visible surface wear, patina, scratches and chipped red paint, especially around the cap edges. Please examine the photographs for the condition of the exact item you will receive.
